First Aid at Work

The full First Aid at Work (FAW) course, approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 allows holders of certificates obtained through this course to be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The course can be adapted as needed to suit particular needs and audiences, such as office or engineering staff. This course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical elements.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
